Hanna-Barbera's 1968 cult favorite series is back as a movie, but this isn't the same Banana Splits you remember from your childhood. This one is even more terrifying. This new take n the classic characters follows a family as they attend the live taping of The Banana Splits TV show as a day of birthday fun. They even win the opportunity to go backstage after the show with other lucky fans and meet the Banana Splits themselves. Things take an unexpected turn as the body count rises. Can they escape with their lives?

As goofy as this movie is, it's actually not as bad as I thought it would be. If you are a fan of goofy, but gory horror you may enjoy this.
