This #FitMomma's Go-To Drink!
Oh the joy of the holidays. Where everyone seems to really over do it on the food and goodies. For 11 months out of the year, I eat and drink rather healthy and exercise frequently. For that one month, though, boy oh boy...
So come January, I'm more than excited to get back into the swing of things. This includes cutting back on my sugar again. But of course, water can get boring and I can be tempted to reach for a sugary drink to quench my thirst after a workout some days. Thank the universe for Bodyarmor's new fitness beverage!

I'm always the last to know about things, I swear it, but I didn't even know this beverage existed, and they have quite an impressive variety to boot!
Bodyarmor sent me a really nice case with a few bottles of their Bodyarmor Lyte in peach mango and cherry berry. Hydration is key, always, and sugary sports drinks do nothing for you in that department, but Bodyarmor Lyte only has 3 grams of sugar per bottle. At 20 calories per bottle, you won't feel guilty about straying from that plain Jane water. Especially when you taste the refreshing flavors that actually took me by surprise. Previously, fitness waters were kind of bland and gross, to me at least. These are so good! Even my husband became obsessed with them.
Bodyarmor Lyte is a premium sports drink which provides superior hydration as well as
- Potassium-Packed Electrolytes
- Natural Flavors
- Natural Sweeteners
- No Colors from Artificial Sources
- Coconut Water
- Vitamins
- No Caffeine
- Gluten Free
- No Preservatives
If that isn't enough for you, here's a fun fact:
Did you know that NBA star Kobe Bryant joined the Bodyarmor team in 2013 as one of the top three share holders in the company?
Needless to say, I've stocked my refrigerator with these and will be chugging on Bodyarmor Lyte during workouts and walks along our town's walkway. They are quite affordable as well, so heck yes!
You can purchase Bodyarmor at almost all major retailers including Wegmans and Target. We found a good variety at our local Sheetz as well. I found a form to fill out for a coupon for 50 cents off a bottle of Bodyarmor! So if you need some sort of incentive (like all the cool info I gave just wasn't enough), then 50 cents off a bottle is a great one!
These look delicious! Especially the Peach Mango one..
