Perfectly Posh Pearlfectionist
I go on and on about how important it is to take care of your skin, and I'll admit, sometimes I mess up and sleep in my makeup. I always feel guilty about it, but when you're tired, you're tired. Most of the time, though, I try to stick to my skin care routine, because I'm certainly not getting any younger and well hydrated skin is pretty important to looking as young as you possibly can for as long as you can. The newest skin care product I got to try was the Perfectly Posh Pearlfectionist exfoliating face mask.
I just heard about Perfectly Posh as recently as a few weeks ago to be honest. I get that I probably live under a huge rock as I'm sure I'm the last one to hear about this company, but as I was scrolling through the site, there were a lot of products that really caught me eye. I decided to try out the Pearlfectionist exfoliating face mask with pearl powder and sea buckthorn berry. Admittedly, I had no idea what those things were, but it sounded nice.
It arrived rather quickly, and included were some samples of their new lip colors as well as a sample of a really great hand cream that actually ended up being one of the things I had already decided I would want to order full size, if I decided I liked what the company had to offer.
The bottle is really pretty, and the mask is a pearl color and actually seems to shimmer in your hand. I was a little concerned I would be left with glitter all over my face afterwards, but believe it or not, that's not the case. The pearl powder that is in it, is very light. It's not overly abrasive so it doesn't hurt your face when you apply and rub it onto your skin. It has just enough texture to loosen dead skin on the surface and wash it away when you rinse.
It goes on light. I'm use to heavy facial masks that are thick and completely obvious after you apply it, but as you can see in my photo here, you can just barely see it. It also doesn't make your face harden and uncomfortable as it dries. All of these are major gold star earning qualities in my book. It washes off nicely as well, leaving my skin amazingly soft. I've been through a lot of facial masks, and this was by far the best one for immediately noticeable softer skin. It smells really good, too!
The samples of the lip colors and hand cream were excellent! Perfectly Posh went three for three on product impressiveness. All of their products have really fun names and packaging, which drew me in immediately, but now that I've had a chance to try the products out for myself, I'm wondering how and why it took so long for me to discover them in the first place. As a matter of fact, I know what I'm filling my daughter's stocking with this Christmas, and yeah, okay, even a Perfectly Posh stocking for myself!
If you haven't tried their products yet, get on it!
