Each book is hilariously written and a quick read.
The Fireside Grown-Up Guides are a US adaptation of the UK bestsellers, Ladybird Books For Grown-Ups. Each book has large-type print on one page and a colorful, classic, illustration on the other.
My husband and I laughed all through each book and as I sat here and watched my husband read through the Fireside Grown-Up Guide to The Husband, he giggled as he shook his head in agreement at most of the pages.
These Fireside Grown-Up Guides force us to laugh at the misadventures we have while trying to properly "adult" and if you've made it this far in life, you can and will, sadly, feel these books on a personal level. They speak to our souls in a hilarious way.
