I know I've mentioned this before, and if you follow my Instagram and Facebook pages, you'll know that we *love* books in our house! I've always said that if you don't like to read, then you just aren't reading the right books. Reading helps build imaginations and children who are frequent readers do better in school. My daughter has been reading since she was 3 and my son, who is now that age, has began to start reading on his own as well. I read to them while I was pregnant, I read to them as infants and babies, I read to my son now, and my daughter, who is now 9, reads a chapter a night. So what better surprise for them, than a Reading Bug Box!

Reading Bug Box is unlike any book subscription box you'll find. It curates your box based on your child's age, interests, and reading skills. In each box you'll find books picked specifically for your child as well as a few fun extras.

The box we got was curated for my 9 year old, who seems to be into just about everything these days to be honest. The variety in the box was perfect for her and she absolutely loved it! She's really into art and DIY projects as well as a variety of subjects.

I'm not ashamed to say that I am actually just as interested as she is in reading these books! Even though she can read all by herself, and does great with it, I think these may be a few books that we may read together, which is fun, too!

She also got some fun art supplies by Faber-Castell such as oil pastels, paint, paintbrush, and watercolor crayons to which she immediately took to the dining room to try out. I love the paints because you can purchase more and add them to each other so they are all together in a set.

She also got a Reading Bug bookmark which has a ruler on the back, and can be personalized by the child if they would like. Paint it, stamp it, draw on it; whatever they desire to make it their own or they can leave it blank.

She really loved the Creativity for Kids Best Friend Message in a Bottle necklace kit. She was excited to make her BFF a necklace for Valentine's Day, and as I mentioned, she loves art and DIY projects just like her momma.

I'm highly impressed with this subscription service and I think I would prefer something like this as a special gift than a box full of toys or candies. Boxes are available for ages Newborn-10 years.
