Period Starter Kit

 This is a handy little starter kit for tweens. I had planned on making up a little box for my 9 year daughter of period essentials and I like that she can just toss this whole kit in her purse to have handy "just in case". It came packaged really nicely and included a pamphlet for parents and tweens to read over, although I do plan on purchasing a few books for my daughter to go with the kit when I give it to her, it was a nice addition. There's also a card with a link to the web site and where you can learn more as well as a place where your daughter can find answers to any questions she has that she may feel too uncomfortable to ask. 

The little bag that comes with the kit is pink with white flowers and has sequins on it. I think it's really cute and becomes a handy carrying case not only for personal items, but a tiny change purse. 

Inside the little bag is two tampons, a panty liner, cleansing cloth, and discrete disposable baggie. There's also a pamphlet inside with information on a brand of feminine hygiene products. Admittedly, it's not a brand I'm familiar with and I don't think it's a brand I can find at my local Walmart or Target, but they may available in other areas. 

Everything fits in the bag and is presented quite nicely.
