Dear Luke, We need to talk...
Dear Luke, We Need To Talk is a new book by author John Moe featuring many pop culture correspondences that will make you chuckle.
Have you ever got to the end of a movie, television show, or song and wondered "What now?" or "But HOW?" Well, this book answers them all. John Moe puts a comical spin on many well known stories through pop culture. For instance, "Concerning Jon Bon Jovi: Wanted Dead or Alive" explains in hilarious detail why exactly he's wanted with references back to the popular hit.
You'll also find the hysterical letter written to all staffers at The Hotel California after the release of the popular Don Henley song highlighting the importance of letting the guests check out and whether the place is, in fact, Heaven or is it Hell.
Everything from Jay-Z's list of 99 problems to an online review of the hotel from The Shining is in this book.
It's a quick, easy read for when you want to relax with a good book, but don't have the time to delve into a full blown story. While most of the entries are hysterical, there were a few that I just read through and shrugged my shoulders. However, when they were good, they were truly good. You don't need to have any extensive knowledge of the specific movie, song, or television show to understand the humor which makes this book perfect for just about anyone in love with pop culture references.
You can find Dear Luke, We Need To Talk on Amazon Books
I received this book free from the author and blogging for books in exchange for an honest review.
